One thing I’m learning quickly is when you say “yes” to the World Race, you’re also saying “yes” to the unexpected.
Recently, I found out that my original route has been cancelled. The one I thought I was going on, the one I’d been imagining for months. But instead of being discouraged, I’m choosing to see this as another opportunity to trust that God’s plan is better than mine.
Now, I’m in between two incredible new route options: Route 1: Colombia, South Africa, Vietnam, and the Philippines and Route 3: Eswatini, Malaysia, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
Both are full of amazing ministry opportunities, and both would stretch and grow me in completely different ways. Honestly, I’m just grateful to have options and to know that no matter where I go, God is already there.
Right now, I’m praying and processing what’s next and more than anything, I’m trying to keep my heart in a posture of willingness and availability. That’s what I signed up for: to go wherever God sends me and love whoever He puts in front of me.
If you’re reading this, I’d love your prayers for discernment as I make this decision. Not for the “perfect” answer, but for peace in choosing the path where God wants to use me most.
Thanks for being in this with me it means more than you know. I’ll keep you updated soon with where I’m headed next!
Let’s keep saying yes,
